MAHALI

TEAM MAHALI

The MAHALI team, made up of students from different countries and fields of study, wishes to build a handmade net-zero energy house adapted to the African context. It adopts a circular use of resources and considering the complexity of contemporary social and ecological challenges. The team wants to contribute positively to the mitigation of these two aspects. MAHALI wishes to create and present new practical and sustainable technologies. It uses recycled materials, upcycled concepts, solar technologies and closed water systems.
The MAHALI team is the only official Sub-Saharan team selected to participate in Solar Decathlon Africa 2019.
